We have moved to a new farm nearby Akureyri, Hléskógar, and we are very happy to back up north!
Hléskógar is a stunning place and we are now working hard on making the new stable and fixing this and that on the farm. We have an apartment to rent for guests who wants to vistit us or going for a sightseeing here up north with all the wonderful things here; Mývatn,northen lights, whalewatching, fishing, midnight sun, horseback riding or going for a visit in town Akureyri!

Here is one of our great youngsters, Stikla frá Efri-Mýrum. She is 4,5 years and sired from the lovely stallion Smári frá Skagaströnd and dam is our Þruma frá Hvítárbakka. Stikla has a great temper and a lot of potential and it´s great to have this kind of horse in the stable.

This is Eygló frá Efri-Mýrum, a one year old filly sired by the great Tenór frá Túnsbergi 8,61 och Kylfa frá Frostastöðum 7,93. Eygló shows great movements and a lot of tölt already! Eygló is owned by Sandra (50%) and Agatha´s Yard ehf (50%).

It looks like we will get a white Easter this year. Here is Raggi and Frökk outside today. Frökk is geting into shape again after having a black colt sired by Kvistur frá Skagaströnd 2008. Happy Easter!

….is most exciting of all! Here Stikla frá Efri-Mýrum is tölting by herself (with a little help from me). Stikla is a very promising young mare (b. 2006) sired by Smári frá Skagaströnd and Þruma frá Hvítárbakka.
Stikla was started under saddle in November and she has performed excellent
since then. It is a big pleasure to work with such a horse.
